CNC Machining
Computer-controlled turning and milling for parts that have to measure exactly what the print says, from a single unit to production runs.
View this serviceSome parts simply have to fit. A bushing that presses too tight ruins a shaft; a cavity out of position scraps an entire lot. Precision machining is the work where the print carries geometric control, tolerances in the hundredth-of-a-millimeter range and a finish note that leaves no room for interpretation. That is where we split the process: rigid workholding, fresh tooling, controlled cutting and measurement between operations.
A print with geometric control is not machined like an old-school dimensioned drawing. We interpret datum frames, perpendicularity, flatness, true position and concentricity, and we set the operation order so every datum is respected from the first set-up and not lost when the part is flipped.
In precision work you do not measure at the end, you measure along the way. We verify critical dimensions between operations, compensate for tool wear and log the readings. If something drifts out of range it is caught on part two, not in a full box already delivered.
A surface finish is a functional requirement, not decoration. We tune feed, speed and tooling to reach the specified finish, and when the spec demands it we finish with grinding or polishing instead of forcing the cut.
It depends on material, size and geometry: a long aluminum plate moves more than a short stainless bushing. We review your print and tell you what we can hold repeatably before committing to a date.
Yes, on critical characteristics. We state the impact on time and cost in the quote so you can choose between sampling and full inspection.
