CNC Machining
Computer-controlled turning and milling for parts that have to measure exactly what the print says, from a single unit to production runs.
View this serviceIn regulated industries, an unidentified part is a part that cannot be traced. Laser engraving solves that without adding material or touching the tolerance: it marks metal or plastic permanently, survives handling, cleaning and solvents, and leaves codes a shop-floor scanner reads without trouble.
We mark part number, revision, serial, lot and date directly on the part. When the requirement comes from your end customer, we respect the position, font size and contrast the specification demands.
We engrave 2D codes and verify the scanner reads them on the actual surface under your plant's lighting, not just on a test sheet. It works on steel, stainless, anodized aluminum and engineering plastics.
We engrave logos, equipment identification plates, scales, control panels and boards with text and symbols, with a uniform finish legible at operating distance.
Not every material reacts the same way. Stainless and carbon steel give a clean dark contrast; anodized aluminum marks white by burning off the oxide layer, with excellent legibility; bare aluminum needs more power and comes out gray. Engineering plastics like Delrin and PEEK mark well, but a sample is worth running because contrast shifts with the base color. If the part will be washed with solvents or run through a coating process afterwards, tell us up front: the correct order is usually to engrave after finishing, not before.
In practice, no: the laser marks the surface without removing meaningful material. Even so, we avoid marking in stress-concentration zones and suggest a safe location if the print does not specify one.
Yes. We accept finished parts for marking, including anodized or painted ones.
