CNC Machining
Computer-controlled turning and milling for parts that have to measure exactly what the print says, from a single unit to production runs.
View this serviceThe fixture is the piece of tooling that decides whether a workstation is fast and repeatable or dependent on the operator's steady hand. In any maquiladora it is indispensable: it holds, it locates and sometimes it verifies. Our design department starts from the real shop-floor need — available space, cycle time, operator ergonomics — and delivers a 3D model for your approval before the first plate is machined.
Before drawing we ask: who will use it, how many times per shift, which hand loads and unloads, and how much space there is. A fixture that is perfect on screen but in the way on the bench is useless. We design with interchangeable locators when the part number will change and with quick clamping when cycle time is tight.
Beyond holding, a fixture can verify. We build test nests, go/no-go gages and checking fixtures that tell the operator in one second whether the part is good, without a trip to the metrology lab.
Aluminum for what moves, steel for what takes impact, Delrin and UHMW for what touches a delicate surface, hardened steel inserts where wear concentrates. The right mix extends the device's life and protects your customer's product.
That is how most of our fixtures start. With a sketch and the part it will hold, our design department proposes the complete device and you approve before we build.
Yes, and it is almost always cheaper than building a new one. We analyze what can be kept and change only locators and clamping.
